Too Faced are one of those brands that seems to have popped out of nowhere. I hadn’t tried much but started to hear amazing things, not just from bloggers but from people around me. My mum was wearing the most lovely lipstick one day and I asked her what it was, she of course replied with Too Faced. Then on my birthday this year, I opened up one of my presents and it was that lipstick and I’ve loved it ever since! Razzle Dazzle Rose is part of the La Crème Color Drenched range, meaning rich in colour and incredibly moisturising. Over the last few months I’ve mentioned it so many times on TMD and thought it was only fair to finally give you an actual review.
Razzle Dazzle Rose is encased in one of the prettiest packages I’ve ever seen! It’s a matte gold tube, with the embossed ‘Too Faced’ name on the side. It’s incredibly slick and doesn’t feel like a massive performance whilst still feeling very luxurious. This lipstick has seen the inside of so many of my messy bags, yet still looks as good as new as it just doesn’t show up any marks. Ten out of ten for packaging.
The La Crème Color Drenched range is pretty damn huge, there are so many colours to choose from now (I believe they started with just five!). Razzle Dazzle Rose is a gorgeous semi opaque blue toned pink and it’s so flattering. The opacity allows your natural lip colour to peak through, rather than just a bright pink mask over the top. You can either have a sheer wash, or build it up for a stronger look – this lipstick has a lot of versatility. The formula is so creamy and moisturising, without feeling tacky. It’s not the most long lasting lipstick I own, but it’s not terrible either – it’ll last a good few hours through food and drink so not bad.
I absolutely adore this lipstick and it has become one of regular go-to shades. It makes you look more put together, without being too much of a bold statement. It’s moisturising and very forgiving on dry lips making it perfect for all times of the year – I’ve worn this on freezing days and on the hottest day of the year. I definitely want to try more Too Faced products not, especially more shades in this entire range as I love the formula so much. A holy grail lipstick right here.
