So I’ve shown you my nail polishes on display, my lipsticks on display and my eyeshadow palette collection (parts 1, 2 and 3) and I asked on Instagram what everyone wanted next and blushers seemed like a popular choice. Now I think this might be quite a long series, potentially with five parts eek as I have quite a large blush collection! For years blush was always my thing. I didn’t really wear lipstick on a daily basis and I just had a small selection of eyeshadow palettes. Nowadays, I don’t buy as many as I used to but they still get a lot of love! I rarely skip out on blush. I tried to divide my collection into colour ways for this series, and I’m starting off with the peachy pinks!
Too Faced Blush in Sparkling Bellini (Review)
My sister bought me this blush and it’s one of my absolute faves. I really, really like orange-toned blushers as I think my flatter my skin tone and this is perfect for being orange without being too orange if you catch my drift. You can actually really customise this one, you can swirl the three shades together for a peachy-coral look, or use the shades separately. All the shades are quite shimmery so when I reach for this I tend to skip highlighter as it alone gives my skin a gorgeous glow.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Dim Infusion
You might notice a theme here in that pretty much all these blushers are my favourite ever and that’s because this colour way is probably the one I love the most on my skin. Dim Infusion gets a lot of love on my blog and you’re probably sick of hearing about it but it’s really that good! I love the Hourglass blush formula, it’s really finely milled and applies smoothly, but for me, it’s the shade which makes me love this. It’s so unique, I can’t think of anything which looks anything like it. You can see it on in an old FOTD I did.
I was debating whether to include this blush or not because two reasons – firstly, I’ve seriously hit pan, and secondly, I don’t even know what it’s called! This was the first non-high street blush I ever owned and I’m pretty sure it sparked my love for blush. My mum picked it up from the airport and I became obsessed with it, it’s the only blush I’ve ever hit pan on, in fact, none of my others even come close. I’m so gutted as the labels rubbed off so I have no idea what shade it is. I think I’m going to take it into the MAC store soon and get comparing as I’d love to repurchase it. It’s quite a sheer blush but you can build it up, and it’s a gorgeous light pink shade with touchers of shimmer.
Milani Blush in Tea Rose
This is the newest blush in my collection, so new you’ll see it in a haul post tomorrow, and I think it’s one of my prettiest. Just look at that gorgeous rose design! Now my categorisations of “peachy pink” are a bit loose here as it could definitely easily sit in my pinks collection – which will be up soon, however, it definitely has some coral hues to it which made me pick it for this post. It’s not as dusky rose as I thought it would be and it’s much warmer, which I love, and it applies really smoothly onto the skin. For some reason I thought it would be sheer but it actually has a lot of pigment so use a light hand!
Clinique Peach Pop
Finally, I have Peach Pop. This little blush is so well loved and I’m surprised I’ve not hit pan to be honest as the flower design which was once on top is all a big blur now. Peach Pop is nearly always one of my travel blushers of choice as not only is it quite compact but it just seems to compliment every look too. These aren’t the most pigmented blushers which means you can wear them light or build them up depending on your preference but they last on the skin for ages whichever way. I’m a big fan of Peach Pop!
Have you tried any of these blushers from my collection?
