I know I only just posted a US beauty haul but I’ve had a bit of an American beauty influx recently as Harry just went to the states and very kindly picked me up some things from Sephora. Now, I may have armed him with a wish list beforehand so you’ll see some products here which I’ve been including in wish list for years. I am honestly so pleased to have all three of these in my collection and I’m pretty sure they’re all going to become favourites in my collection. I’ve started trialling these out so let’s see this as a little bit of a first impressions too.
Tarte Tartelette In Bloom Eyeshadow Palette
Tarte has been a brand I’ve wanted to try for so long but I’m far too lazy for QVC and I think it’s more expensive on there anyway. I knew I had to ask Harry to pick me up some Tarte and my number one priority was the much coveted Tartelette In Bloom Eyeshadow Palette. Now, everyone who has this, loves this, and I can totally see why, I’m already obsessed. It houses the most gorgeous selection of shadows in absolutely stunning packaging and the formula is out of this world. The shadows are so buttery soft and incredibly pigmented, they blend like an absolute dream. I honestly can’t get enough of this palette and I’m so glad I finally have it in my life!
Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed
Another Tarte product I’ve been desperate to get my hands on for years is their best-selling Amazonian Clay Blush, specifically in the neutral shade Exposed. I’ve toyed with picking up the Too Faced blush in Baby Love which is meant to be a good alternative, but I’m glad I held off and waited for the original as it’s everything I imagined it to be and more. I’m really into neutral blushers at the moment and this shade just compliments every look. The main thing I’ve noticed is just how long lasting this blush is, normally they fade from my skin really quickly but this seemed to even last longer than my foundation. Seriously impressed.
Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Verbena
Whilst I’ve known I wanted some Tarte products for ages, it took some research to decide to get a Bite Beauty Lipstick. Now I know about their New York lipstick lab but didn’t know much about the actual formulations, but after reading a tonne of rave reviews online I decided to bite the bullet and get one. I normally find it hard to decide on lipstick shades online but with this, I was drawn to Verbena instantly as I’ve been keen to add a muted terracotta-red in my collection. The shade is absolutely perfect, it’s really easy to wear for a red and compliments nearly all of my typical copper eye looks. The formula is really creamy and glides on so easily, but my favourite thing is the smell. These smell amazing, really fruity and just completely delicious. I think I’m going to do a full review of this so more will be up about it soon!
