I feel like I’m trialling quite a few new beauty products at the moment so picking out my makeup bag to feature this month was a tricky one. I must say nothing helps a spending ban more than blogger mail and it’s pretty much the only way I’m getting through it so whilst I haven’t purchased anything new to feature, there’s still plenty of newness to go around. As always if you want to hear more about a specific product let me know as I always love writing up full reviews!

Eylure x Fleur de Force Brow Tamer
I met up with the lovely Sophie for a catch-up and she kindly passed on some Eylure x Fleur de Force brow products as they were a shade too dark for her. Now I love Eylure and I love all of Fleur’s eyelashes so I was excited to try! She warned me that the brow tamer brush was a little big and I had the same issues she did, you can’t quite get the precision you need. The colour payoff and hold of the product is amazing though, especially for a brow gel so if you have bigger brows you’ll love this. I’m going to keep using it though for lazier days and the clear ones on top of a brow powder.

Eylure x Fleur de Force Brow Palette
Speaking of a brow powder, Sophie also gave me this palette and honestly my first impressions are so so good. I’ve been using a brow palette from YSL for ages now which I adore, but I’m terrified of it running out as it’s so expensive to repurchase. This may possibly be my fix as the two shades are pretty similar and maybe even better for my eyebrow colour. They’re really ashy which suits my brows perfectly and the formula is nice and easy to work with too. I can see this becoming a favourite.

Urban Decay Troublemaker Mascara
I mentioned the Troublemaker Mascara in my recent ‘new in‘ post and I still agree with what I said there. It’s a good, decent mascara that is getting me through the everyday. I don’t find it as lengthening as I’d like, but then again it markets itself as the volumising type anyway, and I’m not convinced it’s better than lots of high street mascaras, but it gets the job done and stays put all day. So I think I’ll keep going with it.

Colourpop Super Shock Blush in Between The Sheets
I’ve become a bit stuck in the rut with blushers recently and I seem to be reaching for NARS Sin or Sleek Suede daily, and whilst they’re both amazing blushers, it’s so unlike me to reach for the same products so I’m determined to spruce it up. Between The Sheets is just the perfect shade for this time of year as it’s sheer and subtle yet compliments the bolder berry lips that I’m loving at the moment. I really need to use it more before it dries up too as the Super Shock formula isn’t all that long-lasting.

ELF Total Face Palette
Another one that I mentioned in my recent new in post is this face palette from Elf, and this is my second step in switching up my blush routine. Although from the off this would look like a spring/summer palette, the peachy shade particular works amazingly with some of the autumn looks I’ve been wearing recently. I am also going away at the end of the month so I think this will be coming with me!

Urban Decay Eye Pencil in Junkie
In case you hadn’t realised after years of me posting my makeup recommendations, I am a complete neutrals lover. Me and coloured eye makeup do have a history but it is in the form of Barry M Dazzle Dusts in schools years 7-9. But actually there’s something about this Junkie shade that has taken my fancy and I love the idea of wearing some subtle sparkle teal under my eyes, so this month I’m determined to make it happen.
