The Daniel Wellington Classic Sheffield

I’ve always been a huge fan of watches. I remember when I was little I was obsessed with 101 Damaltions and had the prettiest silver Disney watch with paw charms as the strap – I’m pretty sure it was that watch that started my obsession. I then owned a multitude of different watches over the years, from a bright red swatch watch to the classic rose gold Michael Kors. In recent years I’ve enjoyed the minimalist watch and my number one go-to brand for these is, of course, Daniel Wellington. I have a few DW watches in my collection now so when they asked if I wanted another one I obviously jumped at the opportunity. I went for the Classic Sheffield 36mm Silver watch as I’ve wanted a more masculine styled watch for ages. Let’s just say I love it.

I have neutral skin undertones so I flit between silver and gold jewellery all the time. For me, a watch is just another piece of jewellery and gone are the days where I just have one watch, I now like to switch them up just like I would with bracelets. I realised recently that all my watches are gold or rose gold so I knew I wanted to go silver with my new Daniel Wellington so I can pair it with silver jewellery. I also knew i wanted one with a larger watch face and classic black strap for a slightly masculine look.

In the lead up to Christmas, Daniel Wellington has released some stunningly packaged gift sets where you can mix and match watches, straps, and accessories. The silver cuff just goes beautifully with the Classic Sheffield and is such a nice extra touch as I love that look of layered bracelets and watches. The packaging itself of the gift set is ultra-lux and has that real ‘wow’ factor when you open it. I’ve gifted so many people watches in the past as I think they’re such a classic present and into watch people. You can now use the code MAKEUPDIRECTORY15 if you want an extra 15 percent off any purchases.

I’ve already started pairing this watch with outfits so expect another appearance in my upcoming lookbook!

Which Daniel Wellington watch would you pick?
