February is always such a short month but somehow, I’ve still developed some beauty favourites over the last four weeks. There are a few duplicates from my January picks but I decided that I was going to be a bit more relaxed with stuff like that this year, at the end of the day if I like something two or even three months running then I should definitely be shouting about it! So let’s dive right in and check out my February picks.
This has been such a rediscovery for me. I absolutely loved it last year but then took a couple months off whilst I ventured into IT Cosmetics CC Cream and more full coverage foundations like Laura Mercier Silk Creme. At the beginning of February, I picked it up one day to give it a go again and I think I’ve loved it even more than I ever did before. It is such a good everyday foundation as it’s so easy and quick to blend as the formulation is so light yet provides really good coverage and decent longevity. I love the dewy finish and I’ve basically worn this everyday in February.
I’ve had a love affair with the whole POREfessional range this month but my favourite has got to be the new Pearl Primer. I wrote about this in my recent comparison post to the original and concluded that this was a great choice for my dulling winter skin. I’ve been loving this under makeup and on its own to just brighten and smooth my whole complexion. It works beautifully under the Serum Foundation too.
I’ve always been such a blush addict and that normally means that I switch up blusher daily. I genuinely cannot believe that I’ve used this pretty much every single day since Christmas – that is just so recent makeup routine postunlike me. It is just the most beautiful blusher which really picks up my complexion and again, works nicely with the Pearl Primer. You can see it in my action on my recent makeup routine post.
Before Christmas I was really obsessed with bold lipsticks and was wearing all my brightest reds and plum tones on a regular basis. Well I’ve gone back to loving my sheers and one of my new loves is the Bite Beauty lipstick in Verbena. The formula reminds me of the Lustre range from MAC which is one of my favourites as they’re creamy, buildable, and comfortable on the lips. Verbena is a beautiful dark red shade but so easy to wear due to the sheer formulation.
Last but not least is another January favourite repeat, but I’ve really fallen in love with Roller Lash all over again this year. I just find myself reaching for it everyday as I love it looks on my lashes. I feel like every single lash gets coated so not only do they look longer but they look fuller too with plenty of definition. I think I’m running low so definitely going to pick this up again as I think it’s my holy grail…
