All this week I’ve been talking about my favourite autumnal makeup and one of my other favourite things to switch up is my nail polish. I’m a big fan of seasonal nail polish – I’m very strict as to when and where certain hues make an appearance. I have quite the collection of autumn-appropriate varnishes so it was a tricky job trying to pick out my favourites but let’s take a look at what I’ve picked for my edit.

The first time I tried NYX was when my sister when to the States and came back with a lipgloss and blush, it was pretty much love at first sight. Since then I’ve tried a fair few of their products and they’ve never let me down, literally never tried a bad thing from NYX. As a brand, they’ve really bridged the gap between professional and affordable and now they’ve become even easier to get hold of as they now sell in Debenhams. Debenhams very kindly sent me some of NYX’s best sellers to celebrate their launch, so let’s see how I got on with them all.
It has been a little while since I’ve done a makeup haul, as contrary to everyone’s belief, I don’t actually buy *that* much makeup. However, the urge grew and I just knew I had to go into town to pick up some things as my wish list was growing, with a mixture of blogger recommendations and just things I generally wanted myself. I only did this haul the other day so it’s still all very much first impressions, but let’s take a look at what I bought!
Blog reading is one of my favourite past times, I don’t get it when people make out it’s a massive chore as for me it’s the ultimate relaxation. I like watching YouTube but for me I’ll always be a blogger and reading blogs will always be the one. Today, I’m back with the third edition of my Blog Posts Which Caught My Eye series – catch up on posts one and two – to share some of the blog posts I’ve absolutely loved recently. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I did and as always let me know your favourite bloggers and blog posts as I’m always up for more reading!
All the way back in March, I introduced a new blog post format in the shape of ‘Makeup In Testing For The Day‘. I said that if you liked it, I’d do a part two, and reading through the comments it seemed to go down well so I’m well overdue for following up on the series. Basically, I’ve picked out five products to test throughout the day to really get a grips on their longevity – longevity is a big thing for me when it comes to makeup, and I’ll be reporting on application in the morning, a midday catch up and then one more update in the evening before I remove it all. So let’s get going.
